About Aiforgoldenyears
We are a teaching practice in Singapore. We opened in 2026 to teach adults 45 and over how to use publicly available AI tools on work they already have: letters, photos, messages, job papers and small-business lists.
Why we opened in 2026
The tools became easy to open and hard to use well. A person could start a free account in a minute and still not know what to type, what to hide, or when the fluent paragraph was wrong in the middle.
Most public lessons still assume a 25-year-old who wants a tour of features. The people who wrote to us wanted a letter to go out this week, a folder of holiday photos to make sense, or a message checked before anyone tapped a link.
Our answer is a room for eight, a 90-minute sitting and a task you bring. Tutors stay with your hands on your own device. We write a recipe before you leave. That is the whole practice.
Where we teach
The studio is at Fortune Centre on Middle Road, in the Bras Basah stretch. Bras Basah, Bencoolen and Bugis stations are a short walk. The building has a lift. The room holds eight learners and one tutor without stacking laptops on laps.
Evening groups run on weekdays. Saturday late morning is for people who prefer daylight and a slower commute. One-to-one clinics can sit in the same room or on a video call if travel is difficult that week.
What we charge for and what we do not
You pay for taught time: group programmes, a 90-minute task clinic, or a 60-minute refresher if you have already finished a course. Figures sit on the programmes page and are confirmed before you start.
The first 15-minute conversation by phone or e-mail is free. Repeating the same lesson within three months, when a seat is free, is also free. We do not charge for looking at a message you forward to ask whether a class would help.
How we handle your material
We do not keep copies of your letters, photos or spreadsheets after class. Drafts on a shared screen are deleted before the next group enters. If you want the file, you save it on your own device during the sitting.
We do not ask for an NRIC to enrol. A name, a way to reach you and the programme you want are enough. If a building receptionist asks for identification at the door, that is the building’s rule, not ours, and we do not store the number.
